High Schooler Pitches 4th CONSECUTIVE NO-HITTER!

Apparently, the amazing feat of three consecutive no-hitters was not enough for Mitchell High pitcher Patrick Schuster.
That only tied a state record.
Monday night, the 6-foot-3, 175-pound senior lefthander struck out 17 Pasco High batters en route to a 5-0 no-hit win - his fourth in a row.
The performance marks the first time in the state a high school pitcher has thrown four straight no hitters.
Schuster’s previous no-hitters were against Land O’ Lakes, New Port Richey River Ridge and Clearwater Central Catholic.
In 53 innings pitched this season, Schuster (8-0) has 110 strikeouts and a 0.73 ERA.
He hasn’t been bad at the plate, either, posting a .424 batting average and 17 RBI.
The Mustangs are 20-3 overall and trail Alonso by one game for the top seed in the Class 6A, District 7 tournament race.
Mitchell has two regular season games before the district tournament.
Schuster has signed with the University of Florida.
